Data drives a multitude of both clinical and operational procedure in modern EMS.  Uses range from effective unit deployment to intricate details on exactly what medical procedures paramedics use, the way those procedures are executed and the subsequent measure of effectiveness.  Join us as Wake County EMS Paramedics integrate simulated hands-on emergency medical care procedures with spoken narrative on how data use applies to each medical circumstance.  We will also project metrics and real-time close-up video of the EMS procedures on screen.  This is a fast-paced look at a broad range of EMS challenges.  We follow the demonstrations with a Q&A panel ranging from the paramedics through the physician EMS Medical Director.
